Improving and Enriching the Lives of Students with Visual Impairments

Looking to locate a Lions Club?  Go to the Lions Club Lions Clubs International website at www.lionsclubs.org and use the “Find A Club Near You” link. The first screen of the LCI website will require you to click on which language you wish to use to view the website. The second screen will have the “Find A Club Near You Link” in the left upper part of the screen. At this point just follow the prompts. The next screen will ask you to agree that use of this is not meant for commercial purposes or solicitation (fundraising). You will then search by “Club Name”, “State/Province” or “Country”. Follow the prompts and you will be directed to a club in a city or town if one in fact exists. The information you will find will be the Club President of record. The listing may have an e-mail address or a phone number or both. 

There are 5 Lions Districts in Massachusetts, with each having its own programs.  Dirstrict N-Northeast Mass. area will provide items such as CCTVs to any Mass. Legally blind consumer of MCB.  This program is called the Visual Aids Foundation.  However each club has the freedom to respond to individual requests.  Most clubs will establish their budgets for next year within the next 2-3 months.  They usually require a request letter describing the need and may request one to present the request at a meeting.
